Your wedding day will always be just that: YOUR wedding day! You've planned for years and months, and when the day comes, you're going to get married, no matter what!
Katie and Kaipo got married on Dec. 19th, 2009 -- the infamous day of the snow blizzard! Wedding Savvy was tasked with keeping everything moving, just as planned and also keeping everyone in a positive frame of mind to ensure Katie, Kaipo, and their families had a wonderful day. After all, they deserve it!
The day was a huge success, as noted in an e-mail from the Mother of the Bride to her friends:
"A quick re-cap for those who were able to attend the wedding and those who weren't. We tend to think the blizzard made the whole day more wonderful... As it turned out of 211 RSVP yes, we sat down with 171 guests. Everything happened on time; the reception lasted the entire time; the young people from Severna Park High School, George Washington University; the Naval Academy; and as faraway as Nice, and every state from New Hampshire to Florida, Nevada, California, and of course Hawaii partied in downtown Annapolis until 2 a.m. when the maid of honor flagged down a car and begged them to take K/K to the hotel while everyone walked back in 21" of snow.
The Annapolis Capitol ran the sword picture on the front page of the Sunday issue.
Few people will forget this one!" -Lorraine

A special shout out to the SUPER vendors who made the event a success: Claire @ USNA Chapel, Cheryl Handel @ USNA Stadium, The fabulous can do team of EgoMedia Photography, Neil Benjers Video, Cache Flur, and our magnificent transportation guru: Matt Grubbs with Annapolis Trolley. Hats off to the USNA Stadium Maintenance Team for keeping the Stadium lot plowed and cleared all night so we could shuttle guests in and out!!
So remember, when the weather takes a turn for the worst, Wedding Savvy will be there to eliminate any worry away and help you pull out a wonderful day. You've invested thousands in this ONE perfect day -- relax and let us take care of the rest. Thank you, Katie and Kaipo, for choosing Wedding Savvy to be with you on such a special day and giving us the opportunity to serve your needs.
